Pratyusha Banerjee, born into a Bengali family in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, was raised by her parents Shankar and Soma Banerjee. Her father is known for his social work and operates their NGO. In pursuit of her acting career, she moved to Mumbai in 2010.
